I, Jim Dexter, started PlumbTree in 2012, with the premise that there had to be a way to make plumbing repairs a better experience for my customers and myself.   After 13 years of honing my craft at large plumbing companies, I could no longer tolerate the sell, sell and upsell practices pushed by management.  On the personal side, I could no longer justify working 24/7, missing the holidays and birthdays with my family.  My goal was to be the type of company and plumber that I would want coming into my own home, not one that is only focused on profit.   When I walk into your home I will always be honest, hard working, and respectful.  When I am in your home, you have my full attention and focus.  I am proud to say that following these practices has led to a successful business.  We rely on word-of-mouth referrals, and of course my long term customers to keep my business going.  As for me, I finally have the work/home life balance that is so important to me.  My wife Abbey assists me with the office portion of the business.  But our biggest job is raising our 5 beautiful children who we adore!
